L.E.O Projects (Life, Equality, Opportunity) is a UK registered charity dedicated to supporting animal welfare, wildlife conservation and vulnerable communities in Sri Lanka. Founded by Anne Fernando, L.E.O Projects was created with a simple goal: to make a genuine and meaningful difference. Born in London and raised in Sri Lanka, Anne experienced first hand the challenges faced by both people and animals across the country. Witnessing these realities inspired her to create a charity focused on practical support and direct action. Unlike many large organisations with high administrative costs, L.E.O Projects focuses on hands on initiatives that directly benefit those who need help the most.
L.E.O Projects supports a number of initiatives in Sri Lanka focused on animal welfare, wildlife conservation and helping vulnerable communities. Rather than operating large programmes with high overheads, the charity focuses on direct support and practical action, working alongside local individuals and organisations to create meaningful impact.​​
